About this program, we would like to offer visitors who haven’t got enough time to visit whole Vietnam. In this, a glimpse of Vietnam will appear in clear vision. Saigon–a business center in the south, where you will see the hustle and bustle of Vietnamese life. Around Saigon is Cu Chi tunnel network, which became legendary during the 1960s for its role in facilitating Viet Cong control of a large area only 30km to 40km from Saigon, and apart of Mekong Delta where is renowned for is richness and known as Vietnam’s ‘rice basket’. More different with the South, Hanoi capital in the North, is the economic, political and cultural center of Vietnam. Visitors on short visits find Hanoi to be relatively slows paced, pleasant and event charming. Physically, Hanoi is a more attractive city than Saigon. Finally is a short trip to Halong Bay a world’ natural heritage which is recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Visitors will have a chance to compare this area’s magical landscape of limestone islets to Gullin in China and Krabi in southern Thailand...

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City (by air)

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat international airport, Ho Chi Minh city – formerly known as Saigon, pick up & transfer to downtown for hotel check-in. Leisure at your own or take an hour walking through Ben Thanh market. Dinner and overnight in Saigon (-/-/D).

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi underground tunnels (road)

Today is a day trip to Cu Chi. Enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Cu Chi district. Upon arrival in Cu Chi, we will start to experience ourselves the underground village of Cu Chi guerrilla fighters, the remain of a real bloody battle field which is simply a network of tunnels built during the long years of wars. Heading back to Saigon to visit Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office, City Hall, Municipal Theatre, War Museum. Shopping at “Ao dai” workshop. Free for dinner and self discover nightlife in Saigon (B/L/-).

Day 03: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Vinh Long (Mekong Delta) (road & boat)

Leave Saigon by car at 07h00 to Cai Be with a stopover at the beautiful bonsai garden for a tea break. Upon arriving in Cai Be, take a motorized sampan to cruise and see the floating market with sellers and buyers busily bargaining and exchanging goods on their colorful boats, a visit to the popcorn cake and rice paper making shops nearby. Continue the boat trip through small village canals to experience the lazy fishing traps, visit the village making thatch roof from palm-water coconut leaves. Mekong Delta lunch is served in local house and dessert with diverse types of fruit. We end the trip by a visit at a brick and pottery village. Return to Saigon by car in the late afternoon via Vinh Long town for a quick overview. Free for dinner and self discover Saigon (B/L/-).

Day 04: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi - Halong Bay (by air & road)

Morning flight to Hanoi, capital of Vietnam. On arrival, pick up and transfer directly to Ha Long Bay via Hai Phong city, along the way you will have chance to enjoy rural scenery, stopover en-route for photos as you wish. On arrival Hai Phong city, a short visit to the Cathedral, Garden theatre, Hang Kenh tapestry. Du Hang Pagoda and Kenh temple. Lunch at local Vietnamese restaurant and refreshment until time drive to Ha Long Bay, the World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. Upon arrival Halong Bay, check-in hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Selfpaid dinner and overnight in Halong (B/L/-).

Day 05: Halong - Hanoi (boat & road)

Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty. The picturesque Halong Bay has more than 2,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. A 5-hours boat trip will visit Thien Cung cave and Dau Go grotto, and then continue to explore more of these wonders of creation. Fresh seafood lunch will be served on boat. After the crusie, return to Hanoi, stopover at Hai Duong for traditional taste of Green bean cake, rest of the day free at leisure for shopping and exploring Hanoi. Dinner at the Grill Fried Fish Restaurant – which has brought much fame to Doan family and overnight in Hanoi (B/L/D).

Day 06: Full day Hanoi city tour (road)

To day, you will visit Hanoi capital, visit Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum & Museum, the House on Stilt, One Pillar pagoda, the Temple of Literature & West Lake. After lunch, continue visiting Ethnology museum, Hoan Kiem lake, and take an hour Cyclo tour for visiting the old quarters. This evening we will attend a traditional water puppet show. Self paid dinner & overnight in Hanoi (B/L/-).

Day 07: Departure (by air)

Free at leisure for shopping until transfer to Noi Bai International airport for departure (B/-/-).

End of services.
